Its in the end phase the socialization of capital risk and costs (the uncertainty of if the debt created is going to lead to growth) according to crude models about future productivity and reproduction rate at the benefit of certain groups chosen by the redistributor at the costs of somebody else in the future

only if we have limited access to credit of course, otherwise you can just take unlimited credit to keep financing an inefficient institution

it really isn't that hard to conceptualize. MMT = unlimited access to credit, but that's unsustainable because then you can't let capitalism weed out the inefficiency, so the powers that be would then like to limit your access to credit based on things unrelated to productivity, for example "equity" or political beliefs or ESG or whatever. You struggle to understand where this road takes us despite all of your posturing about having to adapt. It's either allowing downturns to happen so we can actually let the market's invisible hand do its job, or it's spiraling down into an abyss of inefficiency and tyranny.

The problem, it's not even really a problem so much as just a fact, the system where the federal reserve's only tool is the control over the interest rate with 2 goals maximum employment and 2% inflation. So the only tool they have control of is the interest rate, which means real impacts and therfore actual data to use for further adjustments takes time. As debt matures and new financing has to be procured is where the brakes actually start taking effect, it's not a great system. It's far from perfect and if you have 2 goals you should have 2 tools and they do have a second tool. That part is time and its constant for the most part, but were not talking theoretical physics where time can be dilated. So ultimately it's always been they raise rates until shit breaks.

There are obviously cycles, rates should change to reflect those cycles, but what you cannot fucking do is keep rates at nothing and print hella free money for everyone around the world to use so you get backed into a corner where the interest payments on the debt get to the point that it wrecks the broader economy. Under keynesianism you have boom and bust cycles and rates fluctuate from nothing all the way to the high teens whereas under mmt you just print constantly and have complete control of the economy with a central issuing authority that has no oversight. That's faggot-ass NWO fuckshit and has no place anywhere but in science fiction novels as the mindset and perspective of a villain that meets a terrible death. Fuck communism, fuck communism in capitalists clothes under mmt, better dead than red and suck my nuts.

in the end the rates just need to be freed. Let the rates float. Tampering with interest rates only causes uncertainty and turns would-be healthy downturns into artificial inflationary periods where wealth is further transferred to the "have's" and entry to markets is barred from new entrants. Floating interest rates would naturally nurture the business cycle and keep debt levels and deficits in check.

10% is too high to sustain but acceptable to get ahead of the problem and then start aiming for a more reasonable target like 7-8% as you suggest, and while the dot plot is different and they haven't entirely stuck to the first course they plotted to resolve this they've certainly stuck to the spirit of it which is what I meant and should've clarified. They're going to keep rates up around 5% give or take a hundred bepis as needed and when they actually start getting in front of it late next year or early 2025 they can start bringing rates back down to normalcy. And honestly as someone that's talked to people that lived through Volcker and studied that period of time a good bit, he was a little heavy handed and that kind of interest rate hike just isn't necessary right now even if it makes for a really funny shitpost. Probably bad. When I was seven I was jumping on trampoline with two of my older cousins. They double jumped me. A double jump on a trampoline is when another person or person rapidly push down on the trampoline surface to preload the springs right as another person is about to land. The effect is a significantly greater launch than a single person would generate from their own body weight. So up in to the air I flew and for some reason I turned upside down. I then landed face first and was knocked out. Fairly sure I had a concussion but I never went to doctor about it. Things were a little different for me ever since that and I wonder about long term damage. Memory damage, mainly.

I told anons about MCFNF back in April, and said that it wouldn't go into production until fall, since then they have basically gotten leases on every major gas and oil field in Germany and Austria and are about to start putting natgas on the market. It's still a dirt cheap buy if you got some money that you wanna gamble for massive growth in the short term.

How much is branding actually worth?

Considering that /vt/ is close to 60 million posts, most of them about hololive, after less than 2 years and being widely known in the weeaboo sphere with millions of pieces of fan art, I think its fair to say it has a decent amount of branding. That seems like more autistic weeaboo goodwill than what peek touhou had and they actually capitalize on it.

Check out OIGLF too, they're going to start onshore drilling early next year next to their successful +600Bcf offshore discovery in Morocco, and they're bringing that offshore discovery to production with a partner too. Gas price in Morocco +$10/Mcf and they have direct pipeline access to European markets through Spain. 105MMcf/d production coming online from the offshore discovery which is also going to be further explored while they develop it. And they're in a great fiscal environment: 10 years of tax-free operations once they begin production... far cry from European 'solidarity taxes'. Though needless to say the offshore discovery needs a year or two to come into production so the near term catalysts are the onshore production and offshore discoveries. I made good money on this last year and I'm thinking about jumping in again.

I’ve been feeling depressed lately. I’m 30 years old and see all my old classmates getting married. I’m too autistic to ever have any kind of relationship. Forget about getting married. My only cope is that I have a pretty decent net worth for my age and might be able to semi-retire by the time I’m 40. That doesn’t cure loneliness though, which will only get worse with age. I’d rather be broke and not lonely.
