Wouldn’t crypto market cycles no longer affect Link once it all comes together and is used as the backbone to internet of smart contracts? Why would you sell Link?

This. The predictable 4 year pump and dump cycle is not going to last forever. Many will sell early thinking they are smarter than the rest of the herd only to find that they are now priced out of what is literally a new paradigm.

I will add that this strange period of the past couple of years is the opportunity of a century. On one hand institutional adoption has never been more imminent than now. On the other hand Link has never seen a more severe bear market when you take into consideration the price performance vs fundamentals. This is the time period in which weak minds have capitulated due to being gaslit by the markets. In hindsight it will appear to be the most obvious investment opportunity that has ever existed.

How do you even apply a cycle narrative to something that is going from 0-100% of global market share in a brand new industry?
The people at SIBOS were so fucking pumped about "the start of a new decade of value" and even with retail coming and going the next 10 years will just be the Chainlink flywheel sucking up more and more money like the fucking Katamari Damacy of digital finance

that's why i'm selling half and staking half. if we dump i will be able to buy back much lower while enjoying the fruits of my labor and if we never dump again the half i've staked will make me rich by itself

When we hit $700 I'm selling everything except 100 tokens. All I need is a house and 10 years of cash for living expenses. I can't bear wageslaving much longer and I am not taking the risk that Clownworld will take Link into a decade long slump.

You think retail is going to be given the option to fomo in at $1000 and then make another 81x? Nothing goes up in a staight line for eternity. Link at $700 would place it in the top 3 if not flip bitcoin.
I don't even care about being rich. I just want to stop wageslaving. Any amount of money after that point is meaningless to me.

Eric Schmidt
>In web 2, it was difficult to create a token-based system for finding people, but with the invention of Layer Two Plus tokens plus distributed plus immutable, trust is built into the protocol, enabling new and powerful solutions to problems.
>There are two layers of incentives in web 3: app/user level and infrastructure level, and the goal is to have web 3 universally used by everyone, similar to how Google wanted a piece of itself in everyone's computation.
>Having a piece of computation in every computation is a good idea, and the goal is for everyone to have a piece of chain link in everything they do, providing the most secure and best system for building applications in web3.
