It doesn't, and nobody wants to admit that his energy policies got us into this catastrophic economic mess in the first place. A lot of you will be quick to blame Ukraine, money printing, COVID, etc etc etc, but I'll remind you only once that energy policies DIRECTLY impact the transportation of goods, which affects corporations' bottom line, which results in price gouging to stay in profit. Just one concrete example, but you get the point. Energy policy IS economic policy, and Jerome's tunnel visioned policies won't overlay that fact.

When it comes to supply/demand, the government is supposed to influence supply and the Federal Reserve is supposed to influence demand.

Obama and Trump made the mistake of making policies that increase demand while Biden’s inflation reduction act and his infrastructure focus on supply.

day 1 he cucked keystone, his admin has been anti energy from the beginning. they sold off the entire gas reserve at lows.

the effect on prices is quite obvious. without abundant energy, it doesn't matter how hard jpow tries to rugpull, prices are still going to go up
