56218120 No.56218120 [Reply] [Original]

I don't wantto have too high expectations. Just a good passive income from running 10 nodes (320 ETH). I don't want to depend on wages for survival. I want to work in a stress free job (regardless of pay '/ work as a hobby) and earn passive income so that I can spend time exploring the world

>> No.56218164

you dont want to use crypto as a passive income, thats what dividends and real estate is for

>> No.56218185

Not an impossible goal, but with the current iteration of ETH it certainly is. It's likely to just keep going down from here until they abandon the chain and make a completely new ETH.

Think bigger. $5k is peanuts and you should be asking yourself WHEN Ethereum will realistically hit $20k. I predict 2025 after Trump is re-elected to lift the USA out of recession and drop interest rates and bond yields.

>> No.56218272

ETH will hit 12k. Anons will call for 20k and flippening. Then eth will die and anons will baghold it for another 3 years waiting for flippening.

True but got some prons and cons, same as mining good time to stake is during bear, worst time for staking is during bull this will change only when volatility dampens so not for next 1-2 cycles
>>56218254
16-20 k is only possible as wick candle for next cycle imho

Pretty much, this is how redistribution worked every cycle. In btc terms bot will prob be 0.05-0.055 and top will be 0.14-0.15 and when flippening talk intensifies, we dump

No, Ethereum will crash and burn and is already on fire.
Its getting more centralized:
https://blockworks.co/news/blocknative-drops-mev-boost
even their Sponsor JPM says its shit:
https://watcher.guru/news/ethereum-has-been-disappointing-since-shanghai-jpmorgan
It solved nothing, its still slow, it got more centralized, it doesnt scale and L2s Vampire attack it.
Its also inflationary and the tokenomics are shit tier:
https://u.today/ethereum-eth-becomes-inflationary-again-heres-why
Also the MEV issue is not solved and Vitalik has no plans to fix it,
speaking of, Vitalik is also not doing shit these days but whine about unrelated things in his lengthy essay blog posts.
you Ethereum bros need to start waking up soon because the Music is about to stop and you are going to be left holding the putrid shit Bag if you dont act soon.
You will probably ignore my warnings and that is fine, when your dream doesnt come true and you are back in that high stress wagecage make sure to remember my post and that you had the chance to fix your portfolio.

This. Sorry to break it to you normie, but ETH is obsolete. Calling Ethereum a "Blue Chip" Cryptocurrency is like calling the Playstation 1 a "Blue Chip Video Game Console".

Chainlink CCIP will unify all the liquidity currently siloed on the various public blockchains. What this means is that the first-mover advantage Ethereum has will be nerfed - no longer will you need to buy a shitcoin on ETH simply because people on ETH "have money". It is a more decentralized chain than most of its competition to be certain, but this advantage only matters in a select assortment of use cases.

When the abstraction layer removes any complications from utilizing specific chains for specific applications, ETH dominance will drop, presumably dramatically, because you'd have to be foolish to (all other things equal) choose the most expensive method of settlement possible.

Thank you for reading, important to note that my thesis is absolutely 100% correct.

You can pretty much do the same without needing to commit so much to 1 (one) ecosystem simply by farming on Kinetix, lol.

I feel like being forced to stake 32 full ETH to become a validator means you're forced to marry Ethereum and everything that comes with it. Not really my thing, truth be told.
