it seems to be a natural survival coping mechanism. I’ve rarely come across a wealthy racist. I have a friend who has skinhead tattoos and used to be in WN groups and he stopped all that and says it’s stupid now. he has $10 million+ net worth. i think as he got richer he got less racist.

this doesnt explain it because the rich neighborhoods here are full of indian and chinese families . when i go to the inner city here it is mainly white people living on the streets. we dont have many blacks but the ones ive seen are pretty normal. theres a black guy who goes to the ymca here and he is into video games and stuff. the racist guys i know live out in the rural areas mostly and there arent many colored people out there.

Rich people just want to make money and they can often insulate themselves away from the worst parts of society (which is predominantly non white). If you’re rich and only associate with other wealthy people then everyone you meet is going to have a minimum level of basic decency regardless of race. Even if 95% of X race are insufferable and poor, which leads to racist sentiments if you spend lots of time near them, the rich folk will only associate themselves with the top 1-2% of that race so they don’t see the worst.

When I was very young I initially went to an upper middle class school with very few black people, and all of these black kids were very well behaved, smart, friendly, etc. My younger self never had any racist feelings at this point. It was only when my family moved neighborhoods to a poorer part of town was I exposed to the worst parts of the black community and I then developed racist feelings towards them.

Liberals say racism is due to ignorance, but it’s often the complete opposite.
