How do I invest into small businesses? Do I just find the owner and tell them that I'll loan them like $3000 dollars and have them pay me back 10% every week for 10 weeks? Or pay me back $3900 dollars in one sitting? I'm more curious the first part, just finding and negotiating with small business owners.

I don't think it works that way anymore. Maybe look into BDCs or at the very least peer to peer financing?

Why? I'm not disagreeing with you, just wondering why people wouldn't do it like I mentioned?

Think of the logistics. Do you want to drive around like some loan shark issuing promissory notes? And even if you do, why would a business want to take a loan from you? Most likely you will not beat a bank's offer in terms of interest. So a business would only really be interested in borrowing from you if no bank will finance them, which means huge risk.

But yeah if you disregard all that then sure, find a business owner and get him to sign a promissory note and you're off on your lending business.

How about you give me your money and I tell you to fuck off? Don't like what I'm saying? Expect the African American and Indian community to be on your doorstep.

cause im fuggin STACKED

In all honesty, that's a good point though. I think I would to offer something the bank's can't or won't.
