I started to do some digging on what we are actually spending our money on. There are so many different bullshit pie graphs etc, I had to actually start looking into the budget and allocated spending of these agencies. Department of Health and Human Services is 28% of spending. This isn't called welfare or social security. While the SS department only takes up 23%, still a lot to be sure. But at least its going to people who worked and paid taxes. Anyways see picrel. The operating divisions under HHS are many. FDA, CDC, and dozens of others you haven't heard of before. Picrel is Admin for Community Living. I've worked at a nonprofit before that "helped" the poor and mostly illegals. They get grants from the gov under these divisions. Just about anything can be related to "health and well being". This one tiny non profit in a major city gets 14 mil a year in tax money half comes from the national gov. They only serve a 5 mile radius of the city. They split up and share the "needy" with other non profit orgs. Its a business , the more people they report to "help" the more money they get. The more admins they need, the more the structure grows. Government is already the largest employer in the nation. Its difficult to find exact numbers but if you count shit like this I am mentioning they are affectively employing these nonprofits. I would conservatively say the gov employs 20% of the job market. Only thing I blame boomers for is letting it get like this. Lies and trickery are hard to overcome though.
