3.)Berlin, Germany
4.)Miami, USA
5.)Washington D.C
6.)Philadelphia, USA
7.)London, UK
8.)Prague, CZ
9.)Chicago, USA
10.)Tokyo, JP

I'm from Philly so I biased. I'm moved out at 19 and will most likely move back there when I buy a house. Philly a so cheap compared to many other big cities and has a great layout. It was built before cars but late enough to have a grid system with small streets. I'll buy in the suburbs but Philly has better public transport than 95% of American cities so I can still take the train into town to do stuff.
LA has so much stuff to do in the sprawl but also the nature surrounding it. The weather if you're by the coast is top tier. Only problem is how expensive it is. I would want to be a homeowner here because of how little your get for your money. I'd say its a great place to live you 20s for all the opportunity and experiences, but move out once you wanna settle down.
Lived in Germany too but not near Berlin, don't think I'd want to live in Berlin

Anon being a psycho is a requirement for being rich and famous. Most people are taught to like the idea but give up after the dedication required for an ultimately meaningless (for normal healthy humans) goal becomes apparent

I was born in Berlin and moved away after uni. I can attest Berlin is a massive shithole but so are all other German cities. Cologne where I currently live is basically Baghdad at this point. Trying to move to Swiss within the next 12 months.

You can't be serious, there's no way you've been there. Maybe it's the best on this list, but every other shithole is basically a mini hell.

That's really sad. I'm a bit depressed I will never see pre-shithole german cities. After going to Berlin, I don't think I'm ever going back by my own volition.

I'm not sure exactly why, but I feel OP is a Pajeet with a stereotypically warped (or at least limited) idea of what different cities in the West are like.
The random, totally unrelated link to a nude fashion show kind of fits in with my assessment

>Philadelphia
I'm very confused by this too. I've lived in Philadelphia and owned homes in Seoul, Korea and Seattle, all for about 5 years each. In today's age, everything is virtual so living in a city is pretty unnecessary, but that aside living in Philadelphia was awful. The city is dirty and gloomy, not to mention dangerous in areas, and lacks any of the cultural hubs you're thinking of with New York or LA. Why the hell would you want to live there?

Like I've traveled and lived around various cities around the world a lot in my life and Philadelphia was one of the worst anywhere. I'm genuinely confused by that one.
Everyone else posting ghetto areas isn't considering that, assuming you're already well-off, you won't need to see or deal with the trashiest areas in these cities. But with that said Tokyo and Asian cities pale in comparison to USA cities if you have the money. I know people will disagree with me but it's true. Tokyo and Seoul are great cities if you're still young, or working, or care about saving money, but if money is not a concern at all then the nicest areas in USA cities are better than the nicest areas in Japan, China, or Korea. Unpopular opinion I know but I've lived in both for a while and the people who rave about Asian cities are all minimalists and/or poor.
