What they need is to explain what ICP is needed for and create demand for it. This is the only way to solve the issue - there needs to be a reward for picking up ICP right now, like being necessary to develop apps which can turn into productos to be traded for "goods" within the crypto/IT infrastructre or you can up saving rates for those who are locking their neurons so they rush to absorb all the expenses of the nodes. They need to counteract this with deflationary measures even if it means risking stalling the network. Inflation out of control will kill all developers and those who maintain the network working since all that it signals is that they are losing money very quickly.

I give them 4 more months to figure this out or this coin will be dead. I thought the pre-sellers being locked for a 2-year period was going to be the maximum pain for this coin but it looks like I was mistaken. Token economics are now a much more dangerous thread.

Running a node requires hardware that costs more than $10,000.

Just because you bought the hardware doesn't mean you can run the node, you must be "allowed" by icp to be a node operator. There are many people on the dfinity forums who are still asking why they are being denied or ignored even though they have the system requirements.

centralized, even if you become a node operator, icp can blacklist you at anytime.

your dapps can be removed and deleted by dfinity.

ICP is one of those scams that developers built a mountain to lure people in but have no intention of ever making this usable or profitable for anyone else.

Many people have that same mind frame "but look at all the work they did, this couldn't be a scam"

I have been programming computers for nearly 25 years and I can tell you, if you haven't seen it before you may not believe the lengths people go to scam people.
