From a technical standpoint, PM miners are at capitulation levels of despair. No one wants the stuff, unless you're Japanese or BRICS. Anyways, most staff work pay to pay and can't use our stock program. Covid was only a little stressful, we got an extra $2/hr incentive pay, and could tell customers to fuck off. I kept to myself a lot and found it pretty comfy, so my lifestyle never changed.
Funnily enough, we just had our annual survey and one of the questions was "I am paid fairly for the work I do at Walmart". I answered yes.
The work I do isn't fucking difficult, and I receive an appropriate amount of pay for my contributions. That's different from whether it's a living wage. For most young people and boomers and people with debt, it's not. But I'm not in a situation where I have to live pay to pay
