I live 30 minutes from LA. The nice places are nicer than anywhere I've ever seen. If you can afford security and a driver you can live a great life probably only second to NY city. The bad parts of LA are easily avoidable but yes they are terrible.

Video games are harder to make and gamers are pickier, a lot of them flop. Not everything is minecraft, gta, fortnite, csgo, call of duty etc. You can invest 200m over 3-4 years and not even recoup your initial. It's just a lot riskier than making a movie, goys will slurp movies up regardless if hollyjews made it. Games actually have to be good to make you money and corporate overlords always meddle and fuck up the final product since they don't even like video games.
