It could work under one condition: LUNC's market price has to remain as low as possible for as long as possible. Based on the past year's price performance I don't think that'll be an issue in the near future. The lower LUNC's price is the more LUNC will be burned per wagie. Wagies might not be as quick to throw away $100 a month to burn just 1 million LUNC a month. my suggestions are often so retarded, they become genius. so I thought lets give it a go with LUNC. the idea is to simply swap the purpose of LUNC and USTC, so LUNC becomes the stable and and USTC the supply (or whatever the correct term is). there is no peg currently and no blockain mechanism or rule which forces the roles, so this should be possible. this would effectively lower the LUNC total supply from 6.8 trillion to 9.7 billion and up the USTC total supply from 9.7 billion to 6.8 trillion. you can then mint LUNC (which originally was USTC) to match the USTC (which originally was LUNC) ratio for a repeg, which is much easier and faster than the ongoing burn token tactic. it would solve everything. too bad USTC baggies and grifting devs will always vote no on such a proposal, because they can't see the bigger picture
