ETH is just a safe bet - outperforms BTC, and is very liquid.
SPURDO is more of a memecoin, and like a lot of other recognizable memecoins before it (doge, shib, pepe), it has the potential to do a 100x given that it gets picked up by the broader community.

Find one that is low priced right now and imagine if that has a chance of doing a higher multiplier. Sorry bout that OP. Good news is crypto is unironically a good call nowadays. Many people are fearful of its future but really its a classic case of "everything's red, and red is scary". It's not. You pretty much got two paths:

>Path A: Bitcoin Maxxi
You invest in Bitcoin and Bitcoin only. That's it. Open an account on Binance, or Kraken, or Gate, or whatever you want to use, open up a wallet (Metamask is very popular), buy, hold, wait till next year.

>Path B: Alt-chad.
Still recommended to own *some* Bitcoin but you will buy alts mostly. Good picks right now are Kava (Cosmos+Ethereum co-chain, Kinetix offers good APY for staking USDT), Ethereum, and Kaspa. Staking, APY, etc., all of it is very easy to figure out with a few quick Google searches.
This is my chosen path and those are the coins I own. You are free to choose whatever the fuck you want. If you choose this path do NOT buy one thing and that's it. Danger. That's only acceptable for Bitcoin.

If you ask me the best way to get into crypto is get a couple thousand you're ready to lose and start trying shit out. Put most of your money in sure bets (bitcoin and eth) and play around with the rest on altcoins and shitcoins until you get the hang of how to play the game. No one can download into your brain how to get good at picking projects and buying/selling at the right times. Especially no one download into your brain how to manage the psychological aspects of trading and investing: fear, greed, and other stuff like that. They can shill you their scam investment courses, or shill you their bags, or shill some trick they try that may or may not be any good or actually apply to the situations you find yourself in. Just dive in and start playing. Once you have your own experience you'll know who to listen to.
