This is business related because I want to use my following to promote businesses.

I’ve made a couple websites, and seen some moderate success through SEO, but it seems like the easiest way to get eyes on your project is to get a following on social media.

Have any of you had any success in this regard? Any tips? I’m thinking Twitter because it’s the one I’m most familiar with.

Bump. I bet this would have lots of replies if I said I was going to use social media to shill NFTs or something.

post memes and farm engagement, that's it. sprinkle in dogshit opinions that people will comment and disagree with. since x is monetized people don't care, they spout anything that gets views

>> No.56059029

I refuse to believe social media following is actually real people, can you imagine following someone? Just look at how a normie uses a device, they scroll through 1000s of social media posts per day and give each thing 0.01 seconds of their attention

The people who get a full 30 seconds of attention are Mr Beast tier

There just isn’t enough time in the day to get a “following” that actually does anything, there are countless other things for people to spend their time on other than you, so you’d have to be some kind of amazing world class talent at what you’re trying to do, or you’ll get nothing

unironically just ask mundane questions like "whats better: cold weather or hot weather?". people love to answer questions and spread their uninformed opinion on anything.

no it wouldnt. no one here likes social media unironically.

That’s dope. Congrats on your success man.

I think I’m too shy for that. Probably going to try making a math/science focused account on Twitter and maybe make some YouTube videos too.

Made a Twitter account. Started posting random shit. Got like 3 views. It’s gonna be a long road.

dude be careful w this line of thinking. if you're selling on social media you're dealing w turbo normies. it sucks. you'll be in the worst parts of social media, because that's where the money is.
i ran a couple business accounts for online stores i made. built followings and made sales by promoting through other accounts, and posting pop garbage (scantily girls, basic memes, etc).
>>56059406
it sounds like you don't have a product or service. unless you're beautiful and charismatic, you're not going to just get a huge following and then figure it out. figure out what you're selling so can figure out the best way to do that. maybe social media isn't it.
find God bro. lolz but actually

I'm going to post a shitty thing on my political new twitter account I never use just to make it clear to you how easy it is to get views. BRB in 5-15 minutes with screencap.

It's been 3minutes since posting my thread and the thread has net me thirteen views so far, no Blue Checkmark, Zero Followers. I news articles, commentate on them, delete jewkies so I can screencap more without subscribing, and repeat.
What do you post? Make threads and make some posts have multiple images+women so you people have to click the images and posts to read everythinf. My most succesful post includes two images, a news article excerpt and a hot blonde.

Anyone actually serious about this should look up Dan Koe, simply the most value giving Creator that actually practises what he preaches. Growing a following, writing content, monetisation and paid outreach, everything you need for the Creator economy.

I have a couple websites. A few times I’ve made them and then I’m stuck with the question of how to get customers. Having a social media following fixes that.

What businesses are you actually doing? Trying to use social media to advertise your business could be inefficient depending on what you do.
