My Zillow estimate is back to near all time highs, so far this year my house has gained $64K in free value, hoping to hit 80k by the end of the year, how are my fellow landholders doing?
It sure does feel good to know that the mortgage payments I have on this house are less than the price of renting a one bedroom apartment near me, rentoids will never see these kinds of gains while paying more for a tiny apartment.

Bittersweet but probably a good decision, if not a little late. It's in a nice suburb of Tampa and we've had it for almost 20 years. Listed for almost 6x what she and my dad paid in the early 2000s.

She and my stepfather have lived in Raleigh for like 3 years now and it's vacant now (was rented) so probably the right decision. Sad to see it go though, I grew up in that house.

I'm signing the sale of one of my properties in 5 days.
My current house is up around €400K since 2017, although I spent most of my income on it since then renovating it, so net gains are closer to €250K.
I have another 2 in Spain, one in Crete, and a small farm in France being rented to a family member that is so deep in negative credit he cannot own anything in his life.
My dad's house is up for sale too which stands now at around +€800K since he bought it in the 90's, but demand for big properties here is rather low. Interest rates going up and he's asking a lot of money.

All that being said, I wish I could cash out and move to a modest cabin in the Rockies somewhere. Sadly I won't even have enough to bribe my way into the US with an investor's visa if I sell literally everything I own.

I've got a pretty good situation. I live with me gf in her house, she bought it a few years back, got the sub 3% mortgage. I pay a little more than 1k per month. We're both saving a lot. Improving the house and it's going up in value. It's a bit of a money pit but it's nice to live in a good space and have a garden and such, and I think we'll get all our money back and then some.
