This. It astounded me when talking to sports betting retards in particular when they would describe losing "hundreds of thousands" after their $5, 12 game parlay missed. Fucking degenerates.

Sports betting people are theoretically smarter than casino gambling people. Op probably got rekt on parlay.

it's all fake, just like professing wrestling. and as low IQ as casino games are, at least they are guided by probability.

i think they believe they are
because they know the players, team ranking, who beat who... so they "analyze" what's happening before betting
but it all come done to luck at the end
also as an other anon said, there are many rigged games (soccer at least)

I made $2,500 on a horse race one time off $250 and I cashed out and never gambled again.

I wish I did this same in Crypto, instead I just held down -99%

In Casino your chance is slim to none. In sports betting, ideally you pick the highest probability play. But most sports bettors end up trying to pick the 'undervalued' play.
Think about it this way:
In casino, you rely on luck; in sports betting, only bad luck could kill your bets.

Why were you so based not to have paid with CryptMi app or similar gateway that would have offered you enough cashbacks to cushion your losses. You have your ass brain to blame.

I dont understand sports betting. Just buy lotto tickets.. coulda put a grand on lotto and invested 13K.

I see what you mean but in my experience it doesn't exactly like "only bad luck could kill your bets" because there is always bad luck (otherwise betting on the favorite team each time would almost guarantee returns)

plus, in my opinion still, the "favorite" bet don't offer much yield (like 15% max), so you would need to win several back to back

i think it's very risky for a few rewards. but it's just gambling for fun. sometimes I bet like 20$ on a game when watching with friends but never more

opposite casino games are pure probability even if in favor to the house, you can demand a check of the electronics even to proof they arent cheating you
sports betting on the other hand is routinely fixed to liquidate the most people, there have been countless scandals about it
the most retarded one is about specific numbers outcome in games that denote chinese lucky numbers that chink gamblers have some weird fixation on

Lotto is the worst of the gambling. I was once a lotto insider deciding the win code but never made it and had to fall back to living on cashbacks from CryptMi, Bitpay etc. You won't make it either from lotto.

They're still loosing bets. The odds are set to the best estimate of the bookmaker, and then a chunk is added to the benefit of the bookmaker. If you bet on the highest probability play consistently you'll loose money in the long term because of the margins the bookmakers set into the odds.

There are actually companies and individuals that consistently make money on sports betting, but you have to be able to model outcomes and price bets better than the bookmakers. Normies often help out the good sports betters, because normies might overbuy one side of the bet which would force the bookmaker to skew the odds away from the underlying probability.
