I'm a 32 y/o woman working from home as a graphic designer. I've got an Esty shop that is doing ok but I'm creative and so marketing is hard for me my brain doesn't really work that way. I really wanna turn it into a 'meh' performing store to a mega-store and fund my animal care mission (I live in an EU country with piss poor animal treatment ethics)

I just wanna eat fresh veggies and buy meat from my local butcher. Is it really supposed to be this hard to fund such a basic existence? fuck globohomo I wont work for another diversity hire design studio its soul destroying. Funny you should take that position as I'm not begging for anything, I just make products that people want to buy and want to accelerate in doing it so I can buy some small land in the rural part of Portugal in which I live and live off the grid. I worked many jobs up until now and even trained as a nurse at age 19 - this is what I'm doing that is able to put food on my table and not work for a globohomo company that would essentialy control every aspect of my life. Just asking for some help from people who know how to do marketing well, in order to make it more profitable and I can move forward with things that I really care about. that has an immense amount of VALUE for me and I really believe, the wider community i'm in.

This is the most reasonable answer ITT. Also, keep in mind ventures in "unsexy" fields (read: everything not tech) have a hard time competing for talent.

Better yet would be to find a group of like-minded people (IRL) that discuss such topics, or a network of similarly hopeful entrepreneurs that exchange ideas and contacts; for example, one of them might know a growth specialist that helped them find a market for their niche offering.

That'll be hard in Portugal - it is difficult, even in "large" cities to find regular meetups whose purpose is *not* vanity or frivolity.
