I have a bachelors, honors and masters degree in medicine.
I got my degrees over 15 years ago
I haven't paid back a cent
I'm enrolling for more degrees next year.

Yes, I'm on welfare.
Im a disappointment to my parents
I live alone in a squalor cheap run down apartment.
I havent dated anyone or even had friends in over a decade
I rarely leave my apartment except 11pm grocery shopping once a week

That student loan is never going to be paid I dont think, unless my crypto bags pump

>> No.56013470

me too except for the welfare part

Love it, the stupid greens will wipe the debt before i ever had to pay it back

$860/fortnight

Rent is $700/fortnight
Electricity is $60/fortnight
Internet is $15/fortnight
Health Insurance is $15/fortnight
Groceries are $70/fortnight

I live in squalor, I eat cheap, and I do literally nothing all day but think about killing myself, and escaping this hell by watching youtube vids.
Its easier to shit literal gold than it is to get centrelink disability for "depression". Aus government doesnt really consider depression real.
I'll be dead soon anyway.

I suffer so you have someone to look down on.
Without me, you'd be the lowest social class
You should thank me
Although next time you're running late for wage your job because trains are delayed, that'll be because they're scraping guts and brains off the tracks.
I apologize for the inconvenience in advance

on the new plan in america, if you have federal loans it's almost exactly the same amount for a zero payment...$32805. And the way taxes are based, you could make an extra $31000 and if you put it all in an ira, 401k and hsa you would still have a zero payment.

>Most of it is in cash so tax burden is greatly lowered
>Live with my dad so pay no rent.

Though I spend like $70 on groceries a day at least. + alcohol, smokes and weed so I am broke desu

in nz you get 7% of your pay docked automatically to pay the loan
the minimum income for repayment is like $14k so basically anyone employed is paying
it's interest free debt unless you leave the country which is kind of cool

Why not get a job? I had welfare+depression and very similar budget several years ago: $700 a fortnight centerlink, $600 a fortnight rent, trying to live on $35 a week for food

go to your gp and get on a mental health plan, you'll get a bunch of counseling and stuff that's probably still free while you're on welfare and getting a job will be more realistic prospect if you're not depressed

It's always been like that. The more you earn the higher the percentage of your salary they take.
From mine it's basically 12-13% of my gross salary plus the 35k in income tax it's insane
