See the way things are now the highway maintenance on state roads are funded is via two ways; federal dollars and gas tax money. Well EV's reduce the money collected. So what do? Enter another tax the EV sheep gets hung around the neck. This is a totally separate tax than the property tax you fork out on a car each year. Serious look it up. Some states already have this on the books. Never minding that your basically taxed twice due to already paying tax on your electric anyway through your utility company.
