This is true, we don't have absolute proof because the ledger was pruned prior to the history being taken. BUT this only matters if they mined coins outside of the circ. either a with a double spend exploit or w/e.

Essentially we can calculate how many coins were mined and they match with the circ supply at the moment. Unless they secretly had an exploit they used to mine more coins then fixed it (which we can also review through the code updates)

The reason they gave for not having history also makes sense. They used a dag based system which needs to prune not a single blockchain system. They started and did not expect an explosion in mining. Essentially they did not have bother or were diligent to set up historical nodes from the beginning (takes too many resources).

Take it as a risk, but its a small one.

Don't confuse organic growth with explosion. The kaspa chart proves that the "currency" is strong, has a team based development and strong community. Kaspa has grown a lot in one year of life because she is what she is.

The proof that didn't explode is that Kaspa was born and lived in the bear market. We still have a lot of things being developed and will be delivered in the coming years along with the expected bullmarket. We are still not in 9 out of 10 top exchanges. And if you check the KASPA, ETH and ADA growth chart you will confirm that we are at the beginning of a journey to TOP 10 crypto.

Nope other way around. It's too efficient. It essentially creates too many blocks in unison and organises them at the same time. You end up have 'ghost chains' that need to be conbstantly pruned. BTC has this issue, especially when you increase block size. One of the reason BTC core did not fork with bitcoin cash and later BSV. because btc is so slow, there is linear consensus and they can disregard ghost chains.

It's the next big thing and the devs are total chads and have an amazing roadmap. Make sure you buy in to scorch and get in early. You won't want to miss out
