56004071 No.56004071 [Reply] [Original]

It has become apparent that Bloomberg is being paid by Pyth and VC's, and Jump, but anons pay attention. As I've said in my last thread, I work for a multibillion dollar firm and was surprised at the lack of media attention for Chainlink. Now I have my confirmation, they're being paid. Let's take a look at the latest example.

In the latest Bloomberg Crypto newsletter, after SWIFT admitted to working with Chainlink, Bloomberg failed to mention anything about it. Zero articles. They did mention this article though, see next post

This is a screenshot from the Bloomberg Crypto newsletter. It's about how crypto guys at Jump, who famously were anti-Chainlink, left to form Douro Labs. The same Douro Labs that are backing Pyth, Chainlink's chief rival. Pyth works with Cboe, Virtu, etc. If you don't know who these entities are, they're giants here in the financial world.

Bloomberg has been given what's called a gag order on Chainlink, courtesy Pyth and Jump. Now my team understands why Jump was shorting Chainlink recently, and creating bash fests on twitter.

Here is the article by the way: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-08-31/jump-crypto-s-specialists-depart-for-startup-that-will-work-with-pyth-network

Why are they doing this though?
It’s becoming more and and more clear that, for whatever reason, a faction of anti chainlink crypto enthusiasts exists.
And they continue to play an active role in in trying to discredit Sergey’s relevance.

This is politically motivated. It’s the only explanation that makes any sense. There is no gatekeeper for investing in chainlink. Any sensibly minded person would participate in Chainlink’s investment opportunity rather than settling for scraps from some desperate competitor.

I get the cryptocompare mailout and it's always good for some keks, too. Making it not the first story so it's not the headline (which is maybe justifiable, the BTC ETF delay was pretty big news) but then how's the wording:
>SWIFT, the international financial messaging service, and Chainlink, a leading Web3 services platform, have embarked on a series of experiments. These experiments aim to streamline the transfer of tokenized assets across a variety of blockchain networks.

Nigger, how many people actusally read articles instead of just headlines? The overwhelming majority of normies just sit and scroll on the phone through their social media of choice, and all they see are tweets like the anon you responded to. *THAT* is the predominant form of dishonesty in the media, and it has been for 200 years -- lies by omission, understanding that the niggercattle absolutely refuse to educate themselves, relying instead on their "trusted expert" of choice

Ive had multiple "I finally get it" moments since finding link quite late in q1 of 2021. But I finally get it. The casino will close. Eth will be nothing but a settlement layer. BTC hasnt and wont be used for anything when CBDCs roll out. I see why the BTC-maxis and libertarians hate link. It kills the dream and hands it to the banks. But we saw what the libertarians and cypher punks did (crypto casino and fleece retail with VCs). All of the coins and tokens will fade away. The entirety of the crypto marketcap will funnel into link. 10 link is ultimately going to be a make it stack. I cant promise or predict a timeline. None of us can. Regulators will have to greenlight banks to move all this money in. The SEC will need to separate the wheat from the chaff. Short of speculative pumps (in an environment where chainlink is currently brutally and mercilessly shorted) this will take a long time. More than any of us want to admit or entertain. But at the end of the long gard road is true and genuine financial freedom for EVERY single one of us.

and they certainly never endorsed any vc's

that said even if the banks achieve full victory btc will always serve as a store of value with no counterparty risk where everyone can go into if they distrust the banks so in that case maxi gaol achieved
also having the mere option to effortlessly move your money will ensure a better standard among custodians

I have an old friend who recently started an internship at a big shot market making firm and I tried to get some insider scoops out of him over dinner and a couple bottles of wine the other night, and he basically told me it was an open secret in the industry how certain crypto teams just bribe firms like his to 'boost up' the price and such, so yeah it confirmed what I always suspected about price manipulation and hush hush 'pay 4 play' backroom deals. He revealed to me some minor anecdotes but that included some pretty big names that even I was kinda surprised by, like even some of the largest projects who you'd think would behave more subtly because of regulatory scrutiny half-openly engage in this type of practice through various backdoors and loopholes, like subsidiaries 'foundations' and the likes. But the weirdest thing was when I asked him about this one specific team that you may be overly familiar with here and he acted super weird and tensed up all of a sudden and then tried to cut the dinner short, telling me he had to head on home soon, etc. I really tried to get him to relax, and he just told me like 'yeah no, this project is not kosher, it's on the blacklist, because of... diverging interests' basically, and he wouldn't say more but his behavior alone said the whole story. I was very shocked to hear that but when I started thinking about it afterwards it started making a whole lot of sense. What a fucked up industry.
