I know a neet that I've been friends with online for a few years that gets that plus disability for some stomach issues, and he does hold crypto but not much. He went over the 2k amount once, they only make him pay back some of it, and they just discount it from his future payments for a few months. Wasn't audited either.
Plus he lives in public housing and government covers his rent so he gets a whole apartment to himself with air conditioning and heating and only has to pay like $160/month plus utilities for it.
Doesn't own a car, just walks around.
Spends his neetbux on ubereats, amazon, and new computer hardware. Pirates all the newest vidya, does programming for fun, watches retarded commie streamers like hasan and repeats their talking points.

It's pretty fucked when I think about it, someone trying to save enough to live that same lifestyle of their own apartment, and $1k of spending money a month, they would probably need about $2k/month. To do that they'd have to work their ass off getting a high paying job, living below their means with roommates, taking public transit, for 10-15 years, all to save and invest 600k and live off 4% returns. It seems insane that welfare and public housing is good enough that they can just give you a place for yourself and you don't have to live with roommates. Feels like we could cut welfare to 1/4 of it is now and just say anyone that wants to live off the public dime has to bunk with 3 roommates, and then cut taxes on income earners.

my big jewish employer laid off 5k people but the impact to accounting was minimal. if youre sticking around accounting long term (i might switch careers) get into more technical or managerial roles. i say this having seen turd world street shitter outsourcing ramp up.

companies are quick to outsource things like AP/AR, fixed assets, cash, and other entry level staff accountant work like reconciliation preparation. they're much more hesitant to outsource GL accounting managers (who oversee offshore retards) or senior accountants/managers who work in technical accounting or SEC/statutory reporting.
