I've been posting about the journey on /biz/ every few months, and finally after signing two major customers in July and August, we reached $1m ARR.

I will try to finish the year at $1.25m and hopefully 2024 with at least $2.25m-$2.5m.

At the moment about 65-70% of the revenue is profit, we have 30+ customers, many of which are very known companies.

Biggest goal is selling the company for like $30m in 2024.

Anyone else here building something?

Can you talk about
>Who do you contact in each business?
>How you get their information?
>How do you get them to hear your pitch without hanging up on you?

Yes

I get in contact by having an SDR who reaches out to relevant people over Linkedin, we also use instantly.ai for cold emailing on companies we know might be interested in our software

you can find anyone's email address / phone / Linkedin very easily..

I only reach out via text and not by calling, they examine the product because it provides immediate value (real cybersecurity data related to their company)

Would you say emailing or LinkedIn is more effective?

Also, did you start selling first or did you build the software first?

most effective is producing content / free tools that get you leads, outbound is less effective for me

I had the privilege of having a product that was very easy to build at first and I was able to start selling it almost right away

when I make it, I'm going to start a biotech and sell morality pills.
I will change the world.

Great work anon, worked in cybersecurity for years and made some money off two different companies that I helped scale.

Building a cashback app now for a certain sector. Much like Rakuten, but for cannabis.

I'll keep the board updated to our scale and growth. Just launched and in beta, but, the app conversions are 3x'ing the industry average.

I think we are on to something hot. Raising capital now.

I'd also mention - that selling the company for 30m seems relatively cheap considering the rapid growth you've seen. I need more details, but based on your current scale and success, you should be thinking 100m, bottom.

Wow that's pretty cool, does it require a lot of capital to build?
