I know the LINK token is used as a settlement layer for transactions of different chains. But why? The main purpose of gas tokens is to pay to have priority over other users on the network. That was the original envision anyways.

I have an associates in it. It does make sense because to keep the lights on you need a stable currency. It's definitely a pipe dream that LINK is going to even be needed in 10 years. If or when it does become mainstream it will replace SWIFT itself. You can compare it to HBAR with the amount of publicity they are trying to market. LINK itself has zero actual publicity and theyre 23. Normals do not know what LINK is until it happens at sports arenas or such.

You understand this happens because the network scales beyond its means? Infura was set up initially by Ethereum founders to run its infrastructure out of a private corporation. In general, any blockchain which scales loses the Bitcoin volunteer culture and relies on companies like Infura privatizing the access points into the network.

Same issue with dApps only making money from creating dumb shitcoins with whack tokenomics. Those are there to pay the developers, because it's the only way the devs get paid.

Saito literally solves both of these issues.

ARBDN was testing RWA on Hedera testnet over the weekend.
was running like 4k tps.
I know that because the time of day of the transactions and the type of transactions that were being performed, combined with the current totally random RWA hype train.

Yes, and XRP has been paving the way for regulations and adoption for almost a decade. After the lawsuit Ripple said that they are no longer going from bank to bank to explain to them XRP, now banks look for them and ask them to come over instead. Over 50 banks currently in talks on adoption the CBDC platform.
