Why do mega corporations need subsidies and tax breaks if they're already turning large profits? Can't they sustain themselves? Why is my money fucking going to them and why do I have to lose almost half of my money to taxes while they don't pay shit and make billions a year?!! Not to mention fucking inflation!!!

how much do we spend anyways? sauce?

anyways the answer is they give jobs to a lot of people. governments generally don't want to hang big businesses that contribute significantly out to dry

They negotiate special rates with govs. The govs cave as the corps promise to provide jobs in that city/country and not move their HQ to a third world shithole.

in general this would be an effective bribe to get them to keep the wheels turning in some way
our monetary system requires permanent growth of credit (and therefore money), so you have to keep things moving somehow
i don't think it's right but that's how it's set up

>get 'campaign contributions'
>give huge tax brakes and subsidies to you campaign buddies once you've brought your way into office
>they built a bunch of mega factories and hire a bunch of poor browns at min wage.
>tell everyone about all the jobs you created

No they're giant failures. Most mega corps would have went bankrupt a long time ago without government subsidies and bailouts. They're doing it so they can keep hold to their monopoly.
