Another one bites the dust. Bittrex is filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. I just want to warn anybody who has any fiat or crypto on that exchange to either sell it or withdraw to another exchange or cold storage.

how the fuck do exchanges go bankrupt?

Probably doing what FTX did to be honest. Playing with people's money and screwing everybody over or over lending. A lot of exchanges make their money through trade percentage fees or off what's known as the spread. I figured many people use bittrex so I'd do my civil part in spreading awareness so people don't get fucked out of their money.

I would think very low, but after ftx who knows.
Be careful of any earn programs because they can collapse even though the parent company stays afloat like what happened with Gemini earn.

depends on how their current lawsuits pan out. their balance sheet isn't awful, but for how much they charge for what little they provide it should really be amazing. what is amazing is how fast a place can close down when the feds point out they're doing thousands of felonies an hour.

It’s really not that bad, other exchanges have lower fees on paper but they nickel and dime you in other ways. Crypto.com app charged me like 2% to sell my small hbar position

Only downside to coinbase is that their support is just incompetent indians, there’s nothing you can do talk to a white man

>After FTX
That should have been very obvious to anybody that frequents 4chan I can’t even think of a better metaphor than a literal goblin with the last name “bankman”. There should be zero pity felt to anyone here who lost money on that garbage money laundering scheme.

You just don't understand ethical altruism. The Bankman needed to save the world by setting vast piles of money on fire and pinning the weasel.

I've been getting emails about this for months. Something about changing regulatory environment and they were shutting down in the US then bankruptcy shortly after. According to them I still have $0.40 in there but it's not worth my time to fill out the forms to get
