1) Hard money forces positive sum activity as everything has to balance.
2) Hard money fell out of favor for transactional not economic reasons during the industrial revolution.
3) Politics always favors soft money because it enables easy and opaque theft.

Money is not special, it works like any other asset, increases in quantity (all else being equal) always and only decreases its value. BTC solves money, it is technical fix for a political problem, it is transactionally easy hard money, and unlike physical hard money, abstraction layers can ALSO be trustless, preventing the problems seen in "backed" soft money where the manipulation happens in the abstraction layers. That is the value of BTC, trustless, incorruptible Money. Before full capitalization BTC will act as a leveraged short of fiat, after full capitalization ($50-100T in current dollars) BTC will simply be Money

Only novel things change the world, your problem is you view BTC as either an empty ponzi, p2p paypal, or as 'digital gold' but BTC is none of these things, it's an entirely new thing: trustless money. Before 2009 trustless money did not exist, now it does, BTC's ascension is guaranteed by the systemic economic value gained by fiat's demise.

What can US fats buy *on the stock market* that's basically guaranteed returns? I want a place to park my money. In Canada we have some ETFs that are basically just high interest savings accounts, where the fund managers just negotiate deals with a bunch of banks to give you a good rate of return.

I'm a Canadian with a US trading account, and I get stocks from the US company I work for which become USD when I sell. I don't want to eat conversion fees, and I want to park some of that USD for awhile.

I understand your concern but I haven't been keeping notes and I'm really not supposed to be drinking in my antibiotics (last night was an exception). My employees bought me 2 cases of beer, 2 six packs of coke zero, a Jimmy johns sandwich, and lotto tickets for my going away present so I had to drink some beers last night. The qt 19 year old cried when I was leaving. Feels bad man. Never even got a sniff. Of course we got an apocalyptic tornado storm here in Michigan a couple of nights ago and I had to drive directly through it. Genuinely thought I might die. The wind was so strong it almost ripped off my windshield wipers. It was God's punishment for me lusting over the 19 year old when I'm very much happily married to Miko. I deserved it and I heard God's message loud and clear. Long story short, the markets are going to be bleeding a lot more for a lot longer.

Not to mention the little mermaid was only kind of profitable in the US. The rest of the world fucking despised it. Snow white is going to bomb way harder than the little mermaid. Especially because the beaner bitch they casted publicly hates the original story. Disney can probably fluff the numbers by buying their own tickets like what they did with Captain marvel, but I don't think it will be enough.

Oh yeah that also hits. Disney keeps choosing to "deconstruct" movies instead of creating solid entertainment products. However this is extremely tiresome when EVERY movie does it. Heres an example "The Boys" from Amazon is a superhero deconstruction series. It has some high quality sections (off the top of my head the scene where the Deep tries to rescue a dolphin and ends up getting it murdered being one) but even now its overstaying its welcome and is digging heavily into "modern audience" drivel like the mother recent season subplot about BLM

KEK Disney has been doing so fucking badly lately, I wonder if they will have no choice but to do another animation renaissance era soon? Their current state makes the Black Cauldron era and 2000's slump(home on the range and chicken little being the 2 worst movies they ever did) look good by comparison.

I mean, just look at what they got to celebrate their 100th anniversary; https://youtu.be/ctlz0R1tSZE?si=6Uaf8gXF96Mp-ZGh

Movie looks so mid. Why the hell are they not using the traditional 2D hand drawn animation, ya know, the shit that made Disney popular to begin with, instead of this low budget video game cel shaded lookin ass style? Just further proof its lost the magic(kek). Anyway I will keep shorting stocks, it could dip even lower to $50 or even less.

labor is the thing that might be a little different this time. my and many other tech companies already started the mild layoff process about a year ago, another wave during SVB, hiring freeze has lasted a solid year+ now and is guaranteed to last another year+. So we're already 'ahead' of some of that. The other thing that's different is that labor costs are just so fucking tiny now after inflation... instead of taking a 20-30% headcount reduction most companies will just give no raises for a year or two and inflation will take care of what it hasn't already.

Exactly how this plays out with other debt is the mystery to me. Home prices won't fall without defaults, massive supply in the short term via legislation, or some black swan risk off event. It almost feels like regular, unleveraged debt is in a surprisingly good position given inflation and only the leveraged, speculative retarded stuff will continue to fail like SVB. To me it really feels like we are in some strange inflationary but low spending 'simplification' period and whether you come out of it owning property is going to be the determining factor for life.

Personally I'm parked in 5% treasuries because nothing else even comes close to that sharpe ratio right now. And the government needs to start using that treasury money on something with real returns like public housing or jobs programs or infrastructure or preventative healthcare because 5% will get out of hand real quick if they don't.

I only see a legislative way out this time. The fed has optimized its effect on the dual mandate almost perfectly.. so there can't be any major gains left there. But legislatively literally nothing will happen for like 2.5 more years until midterms and that is still very unlikely to deliver either party a congressional supermajorities. The gridlock of our administrative state might really fuck us this time.

Kek. Disney isn't getting bought by anyone. Two reasons; One, govt would never allow it. Two; the cost factor would be way to high; 2.08 billion shares outstanding + the kickbacks to each board member (golden parachutes) would mean an insanely massive wad of cash being given out. Shareholders of DIS would demand cold hard cash, not shares of whatever company attempted to buy them. Show us the green. Even Apple doesn't have that much cash in it's vault.

The whole community kept bringing us food, whole lunch spreads, snacks, drinks, every day. And that was a very minor event. You wouldn't believe what happened here when there were rumors of the nigger riots trying to spread to here, and I won't tell it. Hell, we even come together with our niggers when shit starts getting real. What DIS should've done over the whole Gov - Reedy Creek deal was this; "Ok since the good people in the Florida Legislature saw it in their wisdom to take away our special district, we, the Walt Disney Company due to now having no incentive to do keep employing them are now going to commence layoffs of the highway, fire, etc personal employed by said former Reedy Creek district. "We are also going to deliver a fat debt bomb on your surrounding areas due to said district now being taken away". If they'd done that that would've put the fear of god into the legislature and made them reconsider. Under the terms of the deal Disney employed countless people in the district for road work, firefighters, etc in exchange for tax breaks and other benefits; you let us run things how we wish and we'll employee people. Also there was a billion dollar debt bomb lurking in the wings to.

Money supply is tight and it's harder to borrow money rn due to high interest rates, and NVDA is currently valued at 10x the price of Intel (owns their own fab) who had more than 2x NVDA's revenue btw. Oh and TSMC also had half the valuation and also a little over 2x the revenue of NVDA, despite making all the chips for both NVDA and AMD combined. I think it's a bubble, senpai and all the mfs who thinks fed is going to print money to keep the stock pumping are the delusional ones who wants hyperinflation to happen and ruin America. BOIL isn't a long term hold (months at best). Over long periods it's absolutely going to lose value due to volatility decay and other factors, and will have to reverse split periodically. That is absolutely *known* and part of understanding the instrument. Then there's also the fact that the mooning from last Fall due to Europe being suddenly cut off from Russian gas and desperately emergency buying shitloads from us, leading to *extremely* disproportionately high prices (which BOIL 2xed percentage wise), and then having a mild winter which left a huge surplus, leading to disproportionately low prices afterwards, is going to make for a skewed chart when given only the glance of nigger eyes attached to a nigger mind.

NVDA just keeps growing (their revenue was higher this Q than Intel's (which has been fluctuating in a general downward trend unlike NVDA's)) and that's what's important. In a turbulent market like this and NVDA manages to show off insane numbers (for NVDA, not compared to others).
The tech that NVDA sits on is lightyears ahead of everyone else. Their software implementation has been extensively worked on for more than a decade and they got it down to a T (unlike AMD's what the hell implementation).
Unlike everyone else, NVDA managed to create hype with their products. And what's more, their products also work. So you got hype + real performance.
Since we are going into a generally bearish month, NVDA might fall below $400 but I don't think it will stay there for long

I posted it yesterday when I was researching companies.
Early 2021 companies had PEAK stock price when they were making negative profit and in 22 when they were making actual profit, their stock price was only 1/3-1/4 of what it was from the peak.
Example: VOW ASA (norwegian company for waste water on cruise ships etc).

Early 2021 was the renewables+green energy+environment meme rallye, with Plug Power and NEL etc.

What type of Black Swan event are you even prepping for? A X-Class flare? Nukes? Or a depression? All unlikely btw. People in Gaza plant potatoes, blueberries, microgreens and some keep chickens and their women are slim and fuckable. The only scenario would be if certain weeds that are resistant to glypho or dem began to rampantly spread and then you’d be fucked anyways. Outside of livestock eating them.

Anyone that willingly enlists is largely a zogbot as is. The only people who really had ant personal feelings were the ones who were drafted. And I can guarantee you if they had a choice, they wouldn't have picked up a rifle. The military can very easily gaslight an already brainwashed military. Like you said, Waco is a prime example. They literally pumped so much nerve gas in a building full of children that the kids broke their spines from the spasms. Anyone thinking our military would some how "come to its senses" is pretty naive. A good soldier will kill his mother if it's asked without thinking twice or asking questions.

Off the top of my head for you weebs Ufotable is an animation studio company that is pretty famous for having a western designed office culture. There are some pretty hilarious interviews with the workers where they talk about how strange it is from their perspective

Granted but they are just getting over the lost generation and it only takes one generation of people having like 3-4+ kids to start growing again. Japan is also like the only place with affordable housing in the world because they don't allow much immigration, and also their zoning laws are genius. I mean, politicians are the ones that balance interests of oligarchs, industrial capitalists, rentiers and other classes of capitalists. they ARE corrupt and parasitic by their very nature. but they HAVE to regulate them all to avoid giving too much power of some over the rest.
