I don't think that you did anything wrong. Part of running a small business is understanding that you cannot please everyone, sometimes you can go above and beyond for someone and they still leave a bad review. I have never owned a business but there have been times where my boss will go out of his way to give a good deal to a customer that we never see again, but won't cut a break for the guy who is in 3x a week. Your staff will make or break the shop because they are there more than you.
I wouldn't ever tell a customer to lose weight but I am not fucking the owner either.

Pick and choose what you sell retail, focus on wholesale, and push wholesale at your retail audience because they are shopping online retail as sourcing for their wholesale because people don't have business connections regularly.
