I was trying to be proactive and hopeful regarding my GDXU and thinking about taxes. I can't believe if lets say I make 100k that the goverment is entitled to 25k of that. What am I paying them for? I also thought of a scenario:

>now at $0
>still owe them 25k
What the fuck.

We are literally cattle to them that exist simply to be taxed. Goyim, if you will. The harder you try to escape the lower rungs of society the harder you will be punished via taxation, the more useful of the idiots claiming "well it's a good start at least", acting as if taxing their slightly better-off neighbour is a step closer towards taxing the oppressors who instigated the tax in the first place, but that step never comes. It all rolls downhill.

Spit on any and all tax collectors you come across and screw the taxman at literally every given opportunity

I don't follow any of the personalities, but I was aware that it was being pumped because his twitter was posted in this general, and as I mentioned in the prior post there was a PP unlock coming, which often coincides with a long bleed period. I did some research on Founders, and the historic drilling was nice, but there are plenty of companies with some nice hits that never got SP appreciation, and combined that with the PP, pump, other red flags, and I expected to either buy shares at a lower price, or simply stay away. Lost out on that gamble but it's naive to believe that SP response was a sure thing to good drills.

mansions have actually performed better than gold, but gold has done almost 100 times better than the dollar. This is why they want an expiration date on dollars. I don't think this is a good counterargument. You could issue paper with fractions of gold leaf, or alloyed coins. Match the gold to the value using units that make sense in todays world. Most modernday transactions are digital anyway.

The real problem is that gold supply is deflationary relative to the globe's exponential population growth, which is counterproductive for governments and generally unsustainable.
The problem is that it's human nature to desire to wish to gain more over time, to accumulate assets, and with something like gold it's physically impossible at scale across an entire population. For every new child born starting with nothing, what incentive do they have to work for an increasingly shrinking piece of the pie? Those before them who have the gold will never willingly part, for they are also trying to accumulate more. In doing this, they effectively declare that their past labors were worth more than today's equivalent labor.
It simply doesn't work. It can never last.

Obviously as an individual it makes sense to buy into these limited assets vs hoarding dollars though. Even better, buy productive limited-quantity assets: shares in real, profitable companies.
In reality, most people never accumulate anything meaningful, but by pricing these assets in an ever declining dollar, people get to feel like they're becoming wealthier, like they're making more money at their job, like they're really winning. The magic is in balancing the inflation such that the common man never sees through this fantasy. The art of the illusion is everything.

>inflationary
No. Deflationary. There are various estimates on the total supply of gold placing it around 250k tons currently. More is being mined/discovered as time passes, but there is a theoretical limit. For simplicity though I'll just take the 250k.
>Global population is 8 billion.
>Gold supply is 8 billion ounces.
1 oz / human
>Imagine population doubles to 16 billion in 50 years
0.5 oz / human

It's deflationary relative to population growth. Now, some countries/cultures are seeing population peaks and declines, but I'm talking on a gobal scale here. What is today one human's share, the cumulative value of one lifetime worth of work, will eventually be two humans' worth.
But the human that already earned their share will never willingly choose to give up half.

So, deflationary assets often lead to hoarding. Unsurprisingly, gold is hoarded around the world. The balancing factor is that as the hoarding continues, eventually the marginal transaction reaches a price too absurd to be worth participating in.
Younger groups see the ridiculous hoarding and choose not to join in. Instead, they've invented their own worthless ponzis to hoard, like bitcoin. In the end, gold itself is just one arbitrary vehicle to fuel that hoarding and speculation. Nothing particularly unique about it. Nothing "worth" whatever price it's trading at.

At present, there is no great answer to this problem. The dollar doesn't really solve it, as inflation is mostly a tax on the poor and foolish. Gold is also not the only asset with these properties, nor bitcoin. There is also stocks as previously mentioned - ownership over large organizations, often monopolies, often serving some geographical region that will grow over time.
Then there's land, real estate, etc. Not like anyone is printing more land.. I could go on, but I think the point is clear.

Well there was only one or two lines disputing one particular invalid line of argument, so that's unfortunate. You've been arguing into the void. There is no opposing side, merely pursuit of a stronger truth. Isn't that the goal of every conversation?

Religion always finds a way. While worshiping Christ is perhaps becoming out of fashion, there are new religions being formed. I've noticed this new movement trending recently: one that prays towards high melanin content, and makes a ritual of genital mutilation. They are frequently seen wearing multi-colored masks that cover their mouth and nose as some form of showing solidarity with the movement.
The common man will always find some cause to worship, it's human nature.

How? Europe, Japan, SK, USA and the rest of the free world will not buy their shit with Kopeks.

What is known is this: They want to deal amongst themselves in alternative currencies, mainly Yuan, Rupee and Euro. They will grow the amount to 30% in 2026, from 26% now. That means, in 2026 they deal with 70% USD amongst themselves from now 74%.
Do we have to listen to "this will end the Petro $ in two weeks" for the next 15 years now?

>Considering that 80% of oil is produced in the BRICS+ country it's not false to believe they are a threat to the petro dollar
Again i submit that the liberal democracies will not pay with Kopeks or Yuan.
Again i submit that these same countries had 80% of the oil production before they called themselves BRICS+ (or collection of autocrats and oligarchs, as i call them).
Again i submit that OPEC (or collection of autocrats and oligarchs, as i call them) tried to squeeze the liberal democracies before, it didn't work then, it wont now.

You turd worlders always think liberal democracies stand there and let everything happen. Exactly what Russia thought before their 3 day operation. This is because you don't allow many voices, because you don't select people by merit.
This is the reason shit countries never amount to anything of note.
SK went from serfdom to industrial power in 15 years.
Poland went from serfdom to industrial power in 15 years.
Germany went from serfdom to industrial power in 15 years.
Japan went from serfdom to industrial power in 15 years.
China had 80 years and still has a laughable per capita GDP.

The reason? Liberal democracy vs autocracy. Freedom vs serfdom. Free market economy vs oligarchic/autocratic planning.
God loves liberal democracies and he hates autocrats, in his wisdom he shows this every day. It's as shrimple as, we have God on our side.

No, we did not. We saw BRICS taking 14 years to go from 12% to 24% of trade among them in other currencies than USD, mainly Euro and Yuan. They want to get to 30% in 2026. This is no victory at all. They trade 76% of their trade amongst themselves with USD today!
The USD will reign supreme in international trade for decades if the west shrinks to what is now the global south size of economy and the global south grows to what is now the west economy.

Let me ask you this, why is so of the trade amongs BRICS done in € and USD? Because it works, because these are stable currencies. Removing the USD as a currency in international trade is a political goal set by Russia and China, there is no other reason. They want to do what they like and for that sanctions must be avoided. This is all the reason there is.
A future in which sanctions don't work is a grim one indeed. Basically China and Russia and Iran freed of any inhibitions. This is what people cheer for in the global south.

Useful idiots think this will happen in a few years. I say it wont happen at all.

Yes, there is an unlimited amount of money at the federal reserve.
Deficit spending leads to inflation and inflation to wiping out old debt. The older the debt, the faster it gets wiped.
Credit, inflation and fiat is what keeps the economy going.
Just stop seeing fiat as a store of value and instead as an economic accelerant and it will fall into place.
The absolute amount of debt is just a number that gets meaningless in light of inflation in 20 years time.
If the economy slows, pump out credit, if inflation rises to much, reduce credit. It's a balance.
However, you also have to keep inflation in check, or people get cranky. Seems everything over 5% or so gets people aroused.

I knew the FS wasn't going to do shit short term, we knew these numbers were coming out from what the CEO implied in interviews.
There's a reason why they wanted to do the scoping study right away.
Good thing is that now this is out of the way and we have an absolute worst case scenario of 2 bil MC at 4 million tons, which is still a very conservative number.

I really like the scene that's being laid out here though.
If we go by what the CEO has been implying about taking over the markets by providing a steady local production and filling the deficit, he's eyeing a production number closer to 7-10 million tons long term, which puts the numbers on a whole another level to +50x.
Then there's the TPR which is likely going to fund this, so low risk of any kind of dilution.
On top of this Compass Minerals is increasingly focusing on lithium, which isn't going to do any wonders for the local salt production if they tone it down in that front.
And inflation is constantly going on, which is going to be pushing up salt prices by default.
The potential gets more insane the more you think about this, but the time frame is going to be 3-5 years at minimum. Quick buyout is basically off the books until they at least get the construction going.
I wouldn't even be surprised if the stock price takes a hard dive from here as everyone expecting a buyout fucks off to something with shorter time frame.

This will be interesting.
I wonder if TPR has already figured things out with the companies behind the scenes, or if they're just waiting for the state to be done with the process so they can finally start the negotiations.

There will never not be volatility dude. Gold's ICL is behind us and even though things should be going up now they won't do it in a straight line, you can't let yourself get shaken out of things you believe in because of wiggles. Listen to based french anon and if you're in it for the junior mining dream then you should just be accumulating good picks unless they turn into bad picks.

And I say this as someone who has almost entirely abandoned individual picks and trades ETFs now, I have no idea if poo lagoon is a good pick these days or not so I'm not recommending you buy or sell anything specific because I hate them all, but unless you're actively on top of every piece of DD out there to be able to be swinging news releases and timing bottoms then my understanding is that the junior mining tactic remains the same; hold good picks and wait for metals to moon.

I can't remember exactly what I said about them or why, I'd have to go back and look but it was purely technical. I know nothing of the company, just that Lassen asked for thoughts on the charts and it looked to me like there was gonna be bounce off around 0.8-0.75 (turned out to be 0.82) and that if it can break a dollar it could finish the handle of the cup over the next few months

It's a small company though so technicals can mean incredibly little in the face of news or events. If you want to know more about the company's fundamentals you'll have to ask the sandman himself

Biggest problem with Eloro is not being honest, they fucking turn everything into AgEq even though their quantity AND grade are absolute garbage. Play your company as a leveraged Tin play, stop trying to bait silver investor. Was interested at first then run away when CEO kept trying to spin everything into AgEq. Fuck him.

>>55988033
You can start averaging in again, don't need to buy in bulk.

We're making fun of swingkek for a good reason. They're not necessarily stupid, just too greedy. Trying to buy THE bottom and sell THE top is stupid. Same as trying to swing some penny for no reason.

We know how the movie end, PM WILL moon, Gold would be 35$ if bankster could really hold this shit down. Only thing you need to avoid is scammer like BHS or debt/bankrupt company like PMG.

Bought more Copaur. I know its a GV pick but the more DD I do on management and the land, the more confident I become. Drill result should start coming in during the next 2 weeks. 2 really good interview:
