In summary, when buying stock in a real company at a good price, you get real gains. It's not just a ponzi.

10x is probably not in the cards, but even a 2-3x over the next 12 months paired with some modest dilution would permanently fuck the present day shorts.

It's best to just avoid this shit. Focus on shorting companies with imminent large debt maturities, blatant frauds that do NOT have cult followings or where success/failure is an objective binary event (ex. biotech shitcos), or massive impending dilution plans with potential to spiral out of control (like CVNA).
