whats the actual middle class now in the UK?

I'm trying to understand where a particular person is...


This person isn't from the UK, eastern euro but parents have gifted a 600k apartment in London.

They say they are middle here and upper there, parents nw is maybe 1.5m gbp and still work, maybe 100k annual combined gbp in their native country

this person also makes 60k gbp and is mid 20s


What does the actual British middle class look like? in the past they had homes owned or almost paid which were maybe 500k? these homes are 1.5m+ now

google says median family networth of a Brit (whos median age is in the 50s I think) is 350k

Also is middle class only when you are at 4-8m GBP net worth in the UK?
or are making 50-200k a year from ownership of assets alone?
