Should BNB drop under $182, a direct route to $40 becomes likely. In such a scenario, brace for potential CEX closures and a market wide decline.
Are you putting in place measures to mitigate this, or do you still consider it FUD?

Secondly, you're never safe with CEXs; there'll be no warning signs before implosion so get your assets off from them and opt for self custody for your peace of mind. Kek

>> No.55921714

Stable crash? Are you referring to algorithmic stables? I'll rather take my chances with 1:1 backed stables especially those supported by reputable Defi protocols for yield farming so that I can make some passive income while at it.

>> No.55921764

>>55918411
Nowhere is 100% free of vulnerabilities; CEXs implode and banks go under like it's nothing; I'll prefer to take my chances with Defi especially with yield aggregators in order to diversify my risks so that a single exploit would not lead to total loss of assets rather than stick with centralized entities. I've had my fair share of that with LUNA, FTX and SVB.

Tell that to PayPal then; I got several accounts suspended for no reason other than the perception that I come from a particular region. If you don't support that region, why allow me open and fund the account in the first place?

>>55920710
What are you referring to as scam in this case? Defi isn't a finished product but there has been a huge progress from where we're coming from. With the advent of yield aggregators, the deleterious effects of these repeated exploits have seen an abrupt end and just maybe they'll be only history soon. Remember the Euler hack that happened not so long ago? Whilst some users had 100% of their assets affected(until they were returned), only about 4% of mine was exposed to a vulnerable pool and that's thanks to the risk diversification model that's available on SpoolFi. These are the sort of innovations that we need to push now while the devs continue to do more work BTS to put these hacks behind us for good.

What CZ has been doing liquidating his BTC holdings makes sense. If BNB collapses then Binance will likely become insolvent, a large chunk of shitcoin trading and liquidity would go dark overnight. Lets see if he can keep Binance from turning into another FTX because if not, then this bear market is going to get a whole lot worse for much longer.

When you get into stable coin staking, you're basically doing that as a store of value because holding the stables alone isn't going to do that; inflation would cause a devaluation of these assets.
You've got to out these assets to work to stay afloat. Anyone promising you a yacht for stablecoins just wants to get you rekt.

FTX didn't disclose their holdings and when they collapsed it was revealed that they had nothing but their worthless FTT tokens. Everything that customers gave them they spent on dumb bullshit and there was no pretense of running a real exchange. The operation was a blatant scam.

Binance wallets are publicly visible for anyone to see. All the crypto they claim to have is there. They are probably sitting on massive stockpiles of cash as well from all the market manipulation they do.

FTX and Binance are the opposite of eachother. FTX was just a scam where they took your money and spent it on drugs and parties and sports stadiums and celebrity endorsements and shit like that. Binance takes your money and crypto and uses it to manipulate markets so that they can completely dominate the crypto space like they have done. CZ wants to be the Pablo Escobar of crypto, not some crook. He is anything but insolvent.
