I actually like that PayPal isn't integrated with your bank. It's good for paying for things you don't want your bank to see, like casinos and OF. It's also easy to pay with PayPal. All you need is your username and password. Basically every site accepts it. Those other banking apps are for sending money to people. Not buying online. Google pay is hardly comparable. It just remembers your card info. It isn't an account.

I don't know what's stopping others from copying them but for now I'll keep using them because it's the easiest. I never have to reach for my wallet or hassle with anything buying online. I set it up years ago and it's never bothered me for anything since.
