Bullrun is coming in 12-16 months. Any job right now is effectively paying 10x-35x per hour if you put the money in smart plays.

This thread is for:
- Answering questions about finding jobs that pay well despite being not having a significant barrier to entry
- How to bullshit resumes/interviews in order to get these jobs
- Leveraging job experience to job hop every 2-4 months to get better positions
- Overemployment

This isn't a trading/shill thread.

I actually used some of /biz/s resume advice and landed a remote job.
they did tell me they'd have hired anyone but having some experience works out too.

Need some advice bros. I have 10 years of experience working with lasers, optics, and electronics in both the medical and defense/R&D sectors. I have 2 AAS degrees in electronics. I want to switch career paths to something that will allow me to work fully remote. I have experience doing electrical design work, interviewing/training employees, writing procedures and technical documents, and all kinds of troubleshooting. Can I leverage my work experience into a new fully remote role and skip going back to school or grinding certs? I'm not a sperg, and interview well. I am just sick and tired of going into an office every day and being stuck in a high cost of living liberal shithole because of a job. Open to pretty much anything as long as it pays well

Making 2k a month right now, they might bump me to 2.5k next month. I can handle bills with just 500 really so I was thinking 50% in ETH and 25% in shitcoins. Any good stuff to accumulate?

How do I get hired as a QA for video games? or should I go QA automaton or that's way above my league considering I have 0 programming experience?

I am looking for a software development position. I've spent a couple years learning blockchain development, but it's rough finding a solidity job. Think I'll expand out and hope a company I work for has a Web3 strategy in the future for me to jump on.

Certs and degrees are useless when you have 10 years of experience. Ive seen enough similar job postings myself to know you can probably get one. Use the specific phrases in the posting in your resume. Have you been applying?

>> No.55914161

>>55913638
Yeah I've applied to a couple hundred postings on linkedin/indeed with only a couple initial phone screenings to show for it. I will try to tailor my resume more specifically to individual job postings in the future, but man that doubles the amount of time each application takes. Other than shotgun applying, is there any other route I should take? I don't really have any "connections". Any job titles/industries I should focus on given my experience?

i've heard of some people dumping job descriptions and their resume into chatgpt to tailor it, and also create cover letters.

>>55914195
That's a good idea; I have been using chatGPT for cover letters (I do edit them, not just copy-pasting), but I hadn't considered the resume-job description method. I will play around with that, thanks

Dont know if it will make me rich but the project is something i can get behind (decentralized money that is fast). And so far it went from rank 200 to rank 60 ... so there is still room.
