It's really batch dependent. Some were fruitier, some smokier.

Have/had several different, bought 8-6 years ago, maybe older batches than that and they didn't always smell the same. Haven't bought Aventus for years now. Have tried some knockoffs, like Lui from Razazi but you know it's not Aventus and it smells a little cheaper, also somewhat ok.
