This guy who calls himself Cassandra is betting $1.6 billion that it's all going down to crash down to hell. Thoughts?

If only we listened to him several months ago when he tweeted "sell". Imagine how much our shorts would be up.

Oh.

Buy the dip ?
What is going to crash and for how long ?
V recovery ?
Is it possible that he just got lucky with that
one call and he's off on this call ?

He's betting $50 million leveraged up to $1.6 billion, but I wouldn't expect anyone on /biz/ to understand the most rudimentary parts of trading.

Has he also made longs or only shorts?

He has 1.2 billion net worth

He put in 50 million and leveraged it to 1.6 billion

This play is what? 5% of his net worth?

Doesn’t have credibility anymore since he is now a subversive agent of the whales used to trick retail into being bearish and missing out in great buying opportunities.

Remember last time this retard was bearish during 2021 when Btc was 30k and then it went to 69k. Don’t fall for their tricks

His retarded, there be no crash especially in an age with AI bots who can detect any sort of problem. If crash happen it'll be a forced one just like all the other crashes in the last 150 years in the US. So really his just guessing.

>> No.55904319

>>55904154
it's not hard

50m is the capital he put on this

50*32= 1.6b

3% of 1.6b equals 48 mi

so if the price goes up 3% he would end up with nothing on this operation. the debt would be equal to the total margin account

we didn't listen

>> No.55904846

>>55904319

thats not how it works, idiot. All we know is that he spent 50m or something on put options. The filing lists the options value as the notional. It's not the premium he paid.

If you bought 1000 350 SPY put contracts at 5 cents a piece the premium paid would be 5000

The notional value of the above purchase is 1000 x 350. 350k would be listed on the filing. In reality it's 5k. He didn't spent 93% of his portolio on fucking put options.

he's a perma bear who has lost a fortune this past 10 years like every other doomer.
number go up and it's not some mystical paranormal force that does it, that natural law has to eventually correct, it's because litterally everything is priced against a currency that has an unlimited supply and never stops being printed.

There's literally 1 billion people more now than it was 20 years ago. You have to be actually retarded to not understand how simple everything in the world is. Boomers already had it all figured out. That's why S&P is perma up only.
