Why would you convolute everything using an ETH token when you can quite literally just use any country's stable coin to buy XRP and then sell in the other countries stable in under ten total seconds?

5 years later and people are just starting to realize that oracles are needed.
And now they want to release their own centralized solutions

Good god all of you are intellectual disgraces. Sergey and the rest of us already knew all of this.
No one is going to use your centralized oracle. It’s like letting the other team hire their own judges in the Olympics. It’s a conflict of interest.

Assuming even after this realization one is not willing to participate in the chainlink network, you can start your own decentralized oracle network. And others have tried. They’ve all failed because Sergey was too far ahead. The reputation that chainlink established from being early was a huge benefit. And it’s likely unless there is some critical flaw in chainlink nothing will ever catch it.

Can someone answer this? I thought FLR was going to be the solution

Nigger you don’t understand Ripples business plan. You don’t even understand what is coming to the XRPL, if only you understood hooks, AMM and pathfinding.
Ripple focused on working from the top to the bottom. They focused all their resources on getting everyone connected to Ripple and it’s only been 1 year since they’ve switched to focusing on tech.
90% of the world is connected to Ripple directly or through third parties. All shit coins that claim to be well connected don’t even have a quarter of what Ripple has.

>> No.55888590

>>55888572
FLR is a solution, but it’s mostly an L1 that happens to be funded by RippleLabs. XRPL is undergoing major major updates. Niggers don’t understand how important hooks and AMM is, there exists literally no mETH shitcoin that can even attempt to replicate the power of AMM coupled with pathfinding.

ripple/xrp already failed in 2018 after failing to get any traction whatsoever

You're right
I don't understand what Ripple is doing
I don't follow what they're doing closely. So I don't comment on XRP/Ripple.

But when it comes to oracles, I do understand. and you don't. All this proves to me is that Ripple is ahead of the curve in understanding that oracles are a huge piece of the pie.

And maybe they will even have some sort of niche success, but that still does not make them a better investment (as far as the oracle pie goes) compared to Chainlink. Not even close.

It’s not that XRP doesn’t think about oracles, it’s that chainlink isn’t available because it claims to be multifunction but I has no relation to XRP
Understand that all users would prefer to use XRPL oracles than chainlink. You cannot force them.

>> No.55890915

>>55890225
Chainlink is the best oracle but the token price is shit. When you don’t incentivize the holders to evangelize the world about your vision you get a downward spiral of continuous shitty price action.

XRP will have a good enough oracle with awesome price action that will rail up the normies to stores the word about it

Link, the Betamax of crypto. XRP is VHS in this world, shittier solution but more popular

Can you show us the blockchain explorer tx for ripple which demonstrate what you’re saying? I’d like to see these transactions with cbdcs and cross chain transfers and securing DeFi via oracle pulls you guys are talking about that 90% of the world is using.

you state such a subjective thing as a fact.
who uses XRP oracles.
Where can I learn about them?
Do I have to go into the github? there are no other sources.
