SDL will be very attractive when staking V0.2 comes out, the 15 of the best Chainlink nodes attached to the stake.link platform could get 500k LINK allocated each instead of the 50K thats allocated to them now

Honestly, why don't they get 5 million for the nodes, they're the ones running the network. the "community" node shit is just throwing linkies at those who have held for a long time. why not reward the actual nodes.

>>55883724
I don't see how the community pool is supposed to work in the future.
Are they planning to make NEET nodes as an archive blockchain for DON transactions?
The issue is we don't really have real staking and it's taking a lot more time than initially expected.

If CCIP drives real adoption there may finally be a driver for staking, but then there will be a competition for staking services and SDL is a bad product...

The original logic was that it would enable staking early, but even if it comes later the trust is gone.
It's far too risky to stake on their platform even if it was the only solution.
How do you solve that issue?

0.2 staking is increasing from 25mil to 75mil. That's an increase of 50 mil. I suspect most of that will be given to nodes or maybe swift.

It's ironic that they have supposedly the best nodes in there and the platform can't be trusted.

>>55883784
At this point it would be a miracle if we got a 25 million increase.
It should go to CCIP staking as it's the most security critical service.
Banks will want real staking and slashing before they use CCIP with massive usage.

Maybe staking v1.0 comes out earlier around May 2024 just in time for the Swift bank integration.

The greatest rug puller and dispenser of betrayal in the Chainlink community after Sergey.
How can you trust that?

You can't...
We are just one rug pull away from either losing staked LINK because of slashing or SDL migrating to a new token and ghosting away the existing features.

How are they planning to insure staked collateral?

>> No.55883805

The irony is that it's the opposite.
By working with Linkpool the reputation of every other node operator is tainted.

I am sure the banks will pay a full division of people to do a background check on every node operator. Then they will know what happened here and will avoid Linkpool to reduce their risk, and then may do the same with node operators associating with them.

Their luck is that with CCIP they don't decide who the node operators are as they are integrated inside a DON.
However some banks will want to run nodes inside the system.

SDL RUGGED THEIR LAST PROJECT

SDL IS NOT NEEDED TO STAKE LINK

SDL HAS AN HORRENDOUS APY

HERE ARE THE LAST THREE THREADS WHERE SDL SHILLS WERE UNCOVERED:

>>55767496
>>55736712 (DEAD)
>>55794583

To bring newfags up to speed:
The LPL Team hyped a snapshot over weeks and then, ON THE DAY BEFORE STAKING RELEASED, they rugged LPL and forced us to migrate to a new project that has nothing to do with the old project with infinitely worse tokennomics and even cut our holdings in half (2 LPL were 1 SDL).
ONLY A COMPLETE MORON WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THIS WOULD GO OVER WELL.
Then they chose to gaslight us about it (just go to the gym bro) and then proceeded to block every dissenting voice from their Telegram and their Twitter Accounts.
The absolutely proved that they are either
completely retarded and incompetent or malicious actors.

threadly reminder that the SDL team rugged their former project (LPL) in the worst possible way by hyping up the advent of LINK staking and then, the day before staking went live, forcing their tokenholders to accept a migration to a new token that cut out the revenue share aspect and diluted their ownership 4-1

they are trying to bring in a new round of suckers on 4 chan dot org because their existing token holders want them dead.

I doubt a bit the last part.
4chan is so dead and full of paid bashers that it's best to avoid it for shilling.

The rug pull could have been avoided, and it's still possible to recover some of the lost reputation, but nothing will happen until Jonny stops running away from the past and does not properly face it honestly and restore the connection of the investors with the original Linkpool project.
This requires a therapy to change his mindset, but until this does nothing will change and the past will keep repeating itself.

On the positive side overcoming the past and changing his negative beliefs into a positive one is the key to unlock a miracle and change his life entirely.
