I owe $4,000. Do I want to pay it all off at once (I can easily do that), or do I want to pay it off over 10 years, with an extra $800 in interest?

Im thinking that the dollar will inflate enough to make the interest not matter. I can also spend the money I keep in my bank account on a future down-payment, or just keep it. But I also want to pay it off now to just get it over with.

I'm taking a short break from work. I'm going to try and find one next month. I'd estimate between $17 and $22 and hour. Full time. Like I said, paying it off right now wont hurt me at all, I have plenty saved.

Whats your interest rate on the loan? Did you use it to take a single econ class?

honestly just pay it off and be done with it. it is such a trivial amount. good luck on your job searching.

why do you retards always say this? inflation only works in your favor if you have investments or wage growth that outpaces it.
