The number one reason is banks will go to war over anything fraud related. If you get fucked with your debit card it isn't their problem. Other reasons are build a goy score. Infinite transactions with no fees, most bank accounts require a big minimum balance to void transaction fees.

yes because i like making everything more expensive for debit card users

I have one because there are some things that won't accept my client/debit card (also limit differences). Apparently it's also easier to dispute a transaction in the unexpected event that someone other than me makes a purchase. But I have yet to take more than a day to pay off the credit card balance.

I have one credit card that I do all my monthly spending on.
>why?
Because I'm not a yuropoor moron. I spend my bank's credit that I can pay off with my next paycheck, while my debit account takes care of my monthly utilities, internet, mortgages and other services. This way I can have some extra cash in case of an emergency this month, while my day to day spending goes to my next month's interest-free period spend. You know the best part? The more money you make, the more credit you can afford. Welcome to not being a poorfag, poorfag. The more money you make, the more money you can afford to borrow. The richer become richer, the poorer become even poorer. This is the way it should be.

My card has a $500 annual fee and I get about $1200 of value out of it every year. Never paid interest.

Look for 12 month 0% Interest credit card deals that offer cash back from purchases. Just dont be a nigger and pay them off and you just got a free loan with cash on top of that. Also fuck this out of date boomer's advice.

I used to have 2 with about $100k of credit and a very very long credit history dating back to thr 90s but I closed them both. Then I opened another one with a different bank later for emergencies but I use my debit instead and often pay cash because I'm more careful with spending that way
