The liquidity cycle is BTC --> ETH --> Shitcoins. BTC dominance will eventually top out and liquidity will flow toward alts. If you're going to punt on a new alt evaluate it on a popularity basis. Real world utility matters for long term survival and will allow you to be a bagholder for a few years during the bear market rather than a liquidated streetshitter running psyops to reaccumulate but popularity is where the real gains are.

no the era of that is probably over. Virtually every coin has the same use case as bitcoin just worse tokenomics and philosophy. Also the vast vast majority of people are just here to get rich and don't care about technology or politics and higher market cap means less returns people will ape into alts because they know thats the only place they can make life changing wealth.
