Getting real sick of all the Ripple and DAG supporters here. None of those "cryptos" are peer to peer or decentralized, they rely on "trusted" validators to confirm transactions. That is not what Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) is, you're being scammed. The same can be said for Segwit Bitcoin and if you don't think so, you aren't paying attention. First of all Segwit took over the main chain instead of forking off and letting users decide like Bitcoin Cash did. Segwit is the contentious fork, not Bcash.
