True but I have a theory that eth will grow much beyond everyones expectations, just as it did in 2017 but moreso this upcoming year. For many reasons:

-normies have not wrapped their head around eth yet, they constantly spell it wrong and have no idea about smart contracts
-POS will be released with the casper update, driving supply of ether in circulation down by a lot.
-Futures to be announced (ideally grounded as opposed to cash settled)
-the ethereum network is growing at an impressive rate, now 40% of top 100 coins by market cap are erc20, thus driving up demand for ether even more
-Highest developer share
-Highest txs/day (more than all other cryptos combined)
-Eth poised to make headlines once it dethrones bitcoin in market cap (hint: it will)
-For this reason eth will replace bitcoin as gatekeeper of alts, driving demand even more for eth

I can only shill so much, and yes other small coins will outgrow ether, but I am personally 85% ether and will never go below this.
