I get a guaranteed weekly minimum of 1300$ and I’ve barely worked a full week since then, netting ~1100$ a week. My last day of actual work was 9 days ago and I’m still bringing home my weekly guarantee. Also scammed Amazon for 3 weeks of covid leave along with some bereavement days when I worked there

I was an apartment maintenance dude for a big corporate slumlord. But people would always ask me if I took side jobs. One of them introduced me to an individual property manager, and I would regularly take company materials that I claimed were for my regular job and use them to do painting and drywall jobs on the side. If they were not too far away from my usual work zone, I would turn off my gps-tracking work phone and get them done on company time as well.

Is that the type of thing you can do on the side? I wanna find something involved with real estate I can do parallel to trucking, so far I’m thinking appraiser/inspector or possibly surveying. I also thought about getting my real estate license some time ago but I feel like that ship came & went

In my case, I ended up getting as much work as I could handle and had to start turning it away. "Can you handle a six-bedroom SFH turnover?" - No. Choice was either to quit my dayjob to do that full time, or to scale it back. I chose the healthcare-401k-steadypaycheck, then left that line of work.
Other than that I couldn't advise you.
