As for the cards once redeemed, I do not know but they likely have some sort of expiration, perhaps something like 3 years, but that's just assumption on my part with a vague notion that I've seen something at some point in that regard.

Yep, I figured out an efficient routine and max mine out daily on both PC and mobile Edge (separate max points daily) using the clickable news" trend horizontal bar and various "explore more" clickers that bring up new horizontal bards to click, then do all of the clicks on the rewards page every day when I first get up and start watching/working the premarkets at 7am ET. This gets me an average of 2 $5 WMT cards per month which I use for my monthly pick up orders of groceries.

When the billion dollar REIT doesn't pay, the lender has to choose whether to talk to them and renegotiate concessions, or foreclose and take over the property to try and sell it themselves and hopefully recoup most of their loan.
Oftentimes they decide the concession is worth more.

If you were to talk to your landlord and tell them you can only pay 95% of the previous months rent, maybe you'd get somewhere.

got in a big argument with brother in law at a family reunion over the markets.. conversation went like this
>hey did you buy TUP stock?
no I didn't, but I've been following it pretty closely for months, since they announced they might go bankrupt; in general I stay away from meme stocks, as they aren't worth the risk, even if you're selling call spreads on sky high IV
>of course they're risky! all stocks are risky! a big fish could wipe out your entire investment in a single day if they wanted to! 97% of day traders lose money!!
well yeah, but there's risk, and then there's RISK - some stocks have a 20% IV, other stocks a 300% IV; and even a big fish cannot really move a larger market cap stock more than 20% maximum in a single day, just due to liquidity and the internal forces of puts now going ITM, these puts getting cashed out, and the market maker being able to buy back the shares they sold short to hedge their short puts. There's too much liquidity and institutional interest in these large caps. Also, the 97% statistic is based upon a study almost 20 years ago done on dumb, uneducated Brazilians, who were trying to trade futures for the first time - this 97% stat is parroted like crazy, when it does not match reality
>I WENT TO GEORGETOWN BUSINESS SCHOOL, HOW DARE YOU MANSPLAIN THESE THINGS TO ME
I know you went to Georgetown, but it's very different working consulting for pharmaceutical companies versus being a market participant, being a trader, the jargon and lexicon is different, and that's what I'm trying to explain to you

This conversation made me realize how little even 200K a year earning MBAs know about the markets. He didn’t even know what implied volatility was

yes it essentially is. actually legit self aware? of course not, but artificially intelligent? absolutely. it's an astoundingly complex calculations machine able to parse from vast amounts of data and will only get more and more capable and refined. humans will, on the whole, come to agree to trust it over ourselves because it just determines the "best possible answer" without being nearly as susceptible to human errors rooted in emotion, uncertainty, self doubt, overconfidence, etc, in addition to holding far more data for the given calculations than countless humans summed together, yet also not susceptible to the disagreements between humans. so, it will cut through all of that shit impressively enough for us to hand the power of decision over to it.

for good reason yet somehow cars which have milliseconds to respond compared to the others will be autonomous. Like bare minimum you would need:
>sensory would have to be in top shape and inspected basically every time the vehicle moves
>sensory would need two or three levels of redundancy
>brain would need two independent systems constantly crosschecking for faults
>brain & code would need to be level of industrial hardening
Its like watching darwinism in action, people relying on these things have no controls automation or even live support systems experience.

Shit, there will never be satellites that do anything other than fly around putting out timed pings. There will most certainly never be rockets that have stages that land upright and can be re-used. Anytime there are problems in early versions of things it proves that those things are just impossible. The way things are now are the way things always will be. There's no such thing as white men who are intelligent, determined, motivated, *driven* to figure shit out and overcome obstacles. Planes have been using rudimentary versions of that kind of thing much longer than any other conveyance. They're also a good gauge of what practical application of autonomous control looks like. Commercial jets can take off, climb to altitude and hold course, descend and land, without pilot input. Why need pilots? Well because that shit isn't perfect, there are several other things you need a human(s) in cockpit to do, and consequences for problems are severe. Boeing is prime example of what happen when thing that's supposed to work doesn't work.
