eth is not likely to grow because it can't scale. vitalik never figured out pos and others have like hbar and their mcap is small.
bitcoin is still growing into the stock to flow needed to be digital gold and has a good value propostition until mining becomes unprofitable in probably 20 to 40 years. then it may actually go to zero.
so basically since you're just buying it as an investment eth may like 10x while bitcoin yes will dip below 20k likely and hit 1million with 20 years for certain to say the least

another aspect of this decision is the fact that eth's supposed market to capture while not having low fees and high throughput would be high value transactions. This will not disrupt tradfi because high value tradfi would sooner hire real lawyers and use real contracts over smart contracts and the keys system where hacks etc are a concern.

also this bearmarket eth barely went down so it isn't exactly a time to slurp it.

Eth obviously, not only has it beaten Bitcoin at being a better digital gold pic rel. But its also way easier to grow your stack using defi such as uniswap (40% Apy, liquidity farming) where as Bitcoin needs ancient centralized exchanges to grow your stack, all while having to do serval tiktoks just to be able to withdraw.

Given that question alone I'd personally pick ETH. It's all due to market cap really. Bitcoin has a well known name, but when it's marketcap was almost a trillion it was worth more than any company in the world.

ETH has more room to grow, and I'd expect bigger multipliers than BTC from here on out. ETH is likely to 2x at least, BTC won't. Even if you aren't using ETH as a traditional currency, you still need to own a bit if you want to swap coins or buy NFT's etc.

ETH will, and has always been, the BTC killer
