Recent uptick correlates with something, idk what. Maybe just normal flanderization of the internet. Negative content being reinforced again and again until its all just cyclical neging. Idk it seems worse than usual and I want you all to know constantly engaging with coarse negativity while bored is really bad for your health. Spending time out of your day to deliberately bait people until you start unironically hating people because they do things even slightly outside your preferences is not good. Do literally anything else.

The internet has always been mean and stupid, but it's really ramped up the hatred and stupidity in the past five years or so. Just the general state of the world getting to people maybe, or maybe it's orchestrated somehow. Could just be social media algorithms driving people crazy, hard to tell.
