The SEC has asked coinbase to stop trading anything but bitcoin and people are shitting themselves thinking it means the death of all crypto when in reality it goes way back to an obscure law that says you can't create a security and create the exchange upon which it's traded, which coinbase does as they securitize crypto in their custody and trade that internally amongst customers and only turn those IOU's back into crypto when people withdraw. Giving them huge power to manipulate the crypto markets if they so chose, which whether or not they do choose to do so it's a problem that it's even a potential problem.

Take a business perspective and only buy the right things at the right price by realistically analyzing the total return of an asset over the time you expect to hold it.

Pay attention to what you're buying and stop chasing the quick buck like a gambler who doubles down when faced with a loss. Only hold if you can feasibly expect it to recover, don't act like some wallstreetbets brainlet.
