I will get everything I want on a retail salary. I already have:

>unlimited videogames
>unlimited manga
>unlimited books
>unlimited access training materials for things I'd be interested in learning
>unlimited movies/TV/etc.

The things I can't afford I don't want. A woman? I had one and she was the nicest person I ever met right up until the Great Recession and she stole my emergency savings and took off with another guy. So trusting a woman is simply never going to happen again.

A house? You only need that if you have a family and obviously not having a family. I will probably eventually get a manufactured home when I get old enough because renting is off the table thanks to no rent control.

Travel? I have VR. I can check out anywhere on the planet. And holy shit, 3d 180 videos, you'd might as well be there.

As long as no more disasters happen, I should be 10k feet in the air when I buy a paramotor sometime next year (money already in the bank).

Bottom line is I won't live long enough to do even half the things I already have.

And the dream of having a girlfriend and living in a beautiful apartment next to everything I could ever want to do....I had that. For almost a decade. And I'll take it and say think you despite how it ended. And as for loneliness, if you just keep doing stuff you like every waking hour and keep your mind distracted every second, it doesn't get to you.
