For what it's worth, I discovered it through Twitter. Start following some of those crypto personalities that have a lot of followers, then follow the ones they follow/reply to and build yourself a nice feed of people who know what they're talking about. That's how I discovered XRB as well as other coins that made me money.

Of course, just discovering the coin isn't enough though. Do research and also look into the ecosystem of the coin. I didn't like XRB just because of its tech, but also from my impression of Colin and some of the other people on Slack back when they used it over Discord.

As for time frame, I rarely make trades that I get out of within the day. I usually find a coin I like, invest, and hold for a while. Then if it goes up, I'll take profits on the way up until I either feel like holding on to a portion of the coins long-term (I did this to UBQ for instance) or just get out completely when you feel the time is right (I did this to ARK for instance). It's also important to just take a loss and not sink with the ship if shit isn't going well.

Looks like we were lied to. 7000 tps my arse. We're not even at Bitcoin levels of transactions and already me and several other users are reporting that if you have a fully synced Raiblocks wallet and go offline for just a few hours, then it becomes impossible to resync. New transactions come in faster than can possibly be processed. The fact that the wallet only processes a couple tx a second should have really been a sign that it could never scale like the developers say, but I think this confirms it now.

Oh it's not synced yet. The numbers in parentheses are the blocks it's downloading. Once it's done it will say "synced". It takes like a day on an sdd and days on a hard drive. You might be able to import your account into the raiwallet.com light wallet

market cap is completely determined by buy / sell side on exchanges. if you have ONE exchange that offers this coin, whales can easily pump it with much less capital required as liquidity is much lower (sell side liquidity is almost non existant as it has to be BOUGHT from the same exchange first creating a loop. If whales buy up the coins on this one exchange the amount of sellers keep going down and the price will keep going up as a result)
